The regulations allow Healthwatch Manchester to speak out and to campaign (including for policy or legislative change) provided it is in support of our core purpose of being a consumer champion.
What does this mean in practice?
Local Healthwatch is the local champion for consumers and users of health and social care services. It is expected that we will play an active role in promoting the changes needed for consumers of local health and social care services.
